Bringing the UEA Symposium and Members & Industry Day events to life in June
June 9th and 11th marked a milestone our team at Free Agency Creative had been building towards for the past year.
We organized, curated, and produced the Urban Experience Alliance (UEA) Symposium — bringing two unforgettable days to the city of Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. A Members & Industry Day opened the program on the 9th, followed by the Public Symposium on the 11th.
The UEA exists because of the people. It grew out of the many passionate placemaking consultants we've had the privilege to meet — architects, landscape architects, urban planning professionals, food & beverage and hospitality leaders, and cultural consultants — who all care deeply about the craft of place. Free Agency Creative formed the alliance with a simple goal: to give our members a voice and a platform to share their stories and ideas about placemaking, and to raise awareness of why the "Urban Experience" matters so much to the cities and places we live in.
Watching the 2026 Symposium come to life — the fireside conversations, the ideas exchanged, the connections made — reminded us exactly why we started this. Every detail, from the program to the production, was brought together by our team at Free Agency Creative, and we're proud to have delivered an event of this scale to our community here in Vancouver and across the Lower Mainland.
We're truly proud of what the UEA has become, and even more excited about what's ahead. Stay tuned for more this year. And to everyone who has supported us along the way — thank you.
